Seaport "Sukhodol" is a high-tech complex for receiving, storage and loading of coal from rail transport to sea vessels.

The terminal under construction meets all modern requirements for safe and clean coal handling.

The main technological facilities of the universal pier provide the possibility of transshipment of cargo according to the following main options of work:

Wagon unloading station

Consists of 2 car dumpers, type - "Tandem". Simultaneous unloading of 2 gondola cars, capacity - 25 cycles per hour.

Buildings of defrosting devices

Two buildings of defrosting devices with a capacity of 14 cars each. Defrosting time of one car is up to 45 minutes.

Transbonders

The building is located in the final part of the railcar loading front is designed to move empty cars from one track to another. Wagons are delivered to the platform by a side positioner.

Crushers

Three hammer-type crushers on the receiving hopper grid. On the receiving hopper the grid of 300 x 300 mm is installed. For crushing of coarse coal fractions, including in winter time the hammer crusher installed above the grid of the receiving hopper of the wagon tipper is used.

Shunting and cutting complexes

Restoration of friable frozen coal in cars - 2 pcs, ripping depth up to 2.5 m, time of car processing - 6 min, 15 cars per hour in winter period.

Railroad scales

For weighing loaded and empty wagons - 2 pcs.

Здание располагается в конечной части железно-грузового фронта предназначается для перемещения порожних вагонов с одного пути на другой. Доставка вагонов на платформу с помощью бокового позиционера.

Дробильные машины

Три дробильных машины молоткового типа на решетке приемного бункера ВО. На приемном бункере установлена сетка 300 х 300 мм. Для дробления крупных фракций угля в том числе в зимнее время применяется молотковая дробилка, установленная над решеткой приемного бункера вагоноопрокидывателя.

Маневрово-резательные комплексы

Восстановление сыпучести смерзшегося угля в вагонах – 2 шт., глубина рыхления до 2,5 м., время обработки вагона – 6 мин., 15 вагонов в час в зимний период.

Железнодорожные весы

Для взвешивания груженых и порожних вагонов – 2 шт.

Non-public tracks

The railway tracks are adjacent to the Smolyaninovo station of the Far Eastern Railway. The non-public track is specialized for transportation of coal to the port. Coal products are delivered from enterprises of Kuznetsk coal basin.

The trains pass to Smolyaninovo station in transit without processing. All operations on arrival and departure of trains are performed on the tracks of Port Sukhodol non-public station.

Disbanding and forming of trains, arrangement of cars on unloading fronts and shunting operations at the railway station are performed by Port Sukhodol own locomotives.

All tracks of the Port Sukhodol station are electrified.

 

The composition of the rail freight front includes:

Defrosting device buildings

The port's rail freight front has two defrosting device buildings (DDB) with a capacity of 14 railcars each. DDB are designed to restore the bulkiness and thaw the cargo from the walls of the cars, accelerate and optimize its unloading during the winter period and the off-season. 

Wagon unloading station

At the wagon unloading station (WUS) two tandem type wagon dumpers operate, i.e. each wagon dumper unloads two wagons simultaneously, respectively, four wagons are unloaded simultaneously at the WUS. Speed of operation of one car dumper is 25 cycles per hour, or 100 cars per hour are unloaded in general at Sukhodol sea port WUS.

Transbonder

Unloaded wagons go down the railroad track to the transborder building. It is located at the terminus of the port's rail freight front and is designed to move wagons to the empty wagon collection track.

Crushers

Coal products are unloaded from the car dumper onto a 300x300 mm grid above the hopper. Above the grid a hammer-type crushing and fractioning machine passes on rails, which crushes frozen pieces of coal products.

Sawing and cutting complexes

The port's rail freight front has two sawing and cutting facilities. They shred frozen lumps of coal products, preparing them for rapid thawing in the thawing unit and for the possibility of unloading cargo from gondola cars. 

Railroad scales

Railroad scales are designed for weighing of loaded and empty cars. Installed on the railroad tracks at the entrance to the port.

Bulk stations

Stations are located at the intersection of conveyor lines and are designed to receive cargo from temporary storage sites for its subsequent loading onto ships with the help of ship-loading machines.

Aspiration system

Aspiration ensures collection of coal dust when passing through the cargo. The collected material passes through a cleaning system and is collected in big bags.

Samplers

Allows to obtain a representative sample of coal products directly from the conveyor flow, this method of sampling is optimal.

The samplers consist of two pendulum samplers installed one at a time on the conveyor line.

Metal detectors

Metal detectors are installed along the conveyor route, recording the amount of metal impurities in the mass of the cargo and signaling to stop the conveyor when large metal objects are detected in the flow.

Electromagnetic Separators

Electromagnetic separators are designed to remove foreign metal objects from the cargo flow. They provide magnetic cleaning of the cargo at the maximum depth at a distance of 350 mm from the cargo passage. 

Inline scales

The inline scales are equipped with conveyor lines to record the passage of cargo. The scales are also installed on the rail freight front of the port.
